We stayed in July with two other families and had a fabulous time. The set up was perfect, with lots of space for the group as well as privacy for each family and the 6 adults, 6 kids (age 2-7) and a dog! The welcome basket was fantastic and we loved the complimentary raspberry picking at the rowley estates. We were so lucky with the weather and ate in the garden every evening with the fire pit to keep us warm when the sun went down. Would highly recommend Todd Hills as a place to explore the surrounding areas and great for groups.

Todd Hills is an absolutely wonderful venue for a group or family get together. All of the bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. The beds are super comfortable with sumptuous bedding. The downstairs facilities are amazing - a fabulous kitchen to cook in and enjoy dinner together, a dining room that converts into a snooker/pool area and a really lovely conservatory. We (a party of nine people) had the best time here.

Fantastic weekend away at Todd's Farm to celebrate an 80th Birthday. Great views, very well appointed accommodation, lovely peaceful location - about a 10mins short walk to the local village. Without hesitation would recommend staying here - very easy process to book, communication with the host was very easy and straight forward. Everything that we hoped for, and more.

A lovely house ,Large kitchen well-equipped and a spacious table to eat ,Bedrooms and bathrooms really pretty with plenty of toiletries. TvLounge and Conservatory furniture could have done with a shampoo and one of the arm chairs in Conservatory needed replacing ,Rug in TVlounge was really dirty and needed a good cleaning ,A lovely guiet country side house ,

Such a beautiful house! Superbly equipped, high quality finish and furniture, lots of different spaces to relax in and a large kitchen for catering for big groups. Bedrooms were really comfortable and the bathrooms to match. We loved it. Eden Valley is so beautiful, without the crowds of the Lake District. Hartside Pass well worth the effort, plenty of cycling and walking and a good local pub to finish! Thank you to the Rowley Estates team!

Our daughters booked Todd Hills Hall as a surprise for our Ruby Wedding. We took all three properties for a magical weekend with guests from 18 months to 89 years of age. Todd Hills Hall is far more than your average holiday home, everything and more has been thought of. We used the formal dining room on the first night and bbq facilities on the second. The kitchen is superbly equipped for large gatherings. All the properties are tastefully decorated and furnished to an exceptional standard ( we had the master bedroom WOW! ). Todd Hills Hall is surrounded by open countryside with views towards the Lake District, with ample and secure grounds and parking. We took full advantage of the useful information in the property. We particularly enjoyed the Old Bakery Tearoom in Melmerby after a day walking. We would highly recommend Todd Hills Hall and hope to return.

What a wonderful venue to spend an enjoyable long weekend with friends. Every detail is thought through at Todd Hills from the welcome hamper to the comfortable bedrooms. The house works so well for a large party with plenty of room inside and out to spend time together or just chilling out taking in the views. The kitchen is really well equipped and we enjoyed a Barbecue at the house, a meal at the nearby Shepherds Inn, and drinks in Kirkoswald. If you enjoy mountain biking there is a cracking route from the house through Gamblesby to the top of Hartside, down to Kirkoswald then back to Todd Hill.

This was our second visit to a Rowley Estates property. A group of 5 couples. Our first visit was to Jenny's Croft and Glassonby Old Hall (2 properties booked as one for our group). Todds Hill Hall has been finished to the same high standard, we couldn't fault any of the properties. All rooms had either an ensuite or adjacent bathroom. The cooking and dining facilities were excellent, well equipped for a large group self catering. Our stay was in November last year, just getting around to posting! We enjoyed cosy nights with the wood burner inside and also made use of the outdoor firepit. The aga kept the kitchen/dining area cosy. Central heating also very effective in the winter month, all rooms were warm and cosy. The village is in walking distance. We had a lovely walk around, wandered round the shop and had tea and cake in the garden of the cafe which was lovely. In the evening we ate at the Shepherds Inn for dinner. The food was excellent. Can't wait to visit again!

My family of 6 adults 4 children and 3 dogs enjoyed a wonderful few days at Todd Hills Hall Farm. The gardens were beautifully manicured perfect for our Easter Egg hunt and the dogs to run round. The house is truly amazing and very welcoming … I didn’t worry about letting our youngsters have fun running round without fear of breaking or spoiling anything … it’s a well lived in/loved property. The location is quiet but perfectly placed for exploring the Lakes and the local Shepherds Inn pub does a great Sunday Roast. The huge kitchen area had all the stuff we needed for our large group including all the basics tea, coffee etc plus there was a substantial 5* welcome pack with wine which was a lovely touch. Two large dining areas one that doubles as a snooker/pool area which provided lots of fun. A snug with TV and a bright conservatory which we all enjoyed relaxing in. All the bedrooms are large with crisp cotton bedding and lovely views over the open countryside and all have en-suites with fluffy towels and complementary toiletries … and there is no shortage of loo rolls!! Christine and her team were so helpful and professional and did everything to make our stay just perfect. The weather was mixed so we hired a hot tub which allowed the kids to have fun and the adults to ease their aching limbs from all the walking with a glass or two of bubbly. We look forward to visiting again thank you Christine!
